1995 Ford Ranger XLT review from North America
"Very happy I bought it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Number one problem. The dome light and door ajar chime do not go out. Sometimes it will stay on for over 30 minutes. Very frustrating when driving on the busy California freeways. Talk about wanting to commit road rage. Has anyone found a cure for this? Besides the dealer changing the door latches costing $ 500.00.
The windshield wipers come on whenever they want. I attribute it to my truck having a personality at this point. Wakes me up when I get tired driving.
General comments?
This truck has been very dependable. I have definitely got my moneys worth out of it. I would definitely buy another Ranger. I would probably go with a bigger engine. But you can't beat the reliability of the 2.3L engine. A very strong, foul proof engine.
