General comments?
I think all of the ford taurus and mercury sable vehicles from 1992-1995 were junk. their transmissions fail way to soon. the dash is so large and made of really cheap hard plastic, that in the summer the car is hard to cool using the a/c. I currently am trying to get the taurus's transmission diagnosed, due to its hard downshifting and speed control unit that goes into nutreul on the highway (very dangerous).
This car is comfterable and has a handsome design, but don't let the looks fool you when buying one. It just seems like everyday there is a new problem with it. I wouldn't recommend buying a taurus between these years as they have a poor mechanical design.
