1976 Chevrolet Suburban Scottsdale review from North America
"Greatest vehicle ever made with no known equal"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The head gasket went bad at 180,000 miles.
Master Cylinder failed at 200,000 miles.
Various minor engine leaks through out.
Had body completely redone around 180,000 miles.
Other than that just regular maintenance.
General comments?
The truck has tons of power even after all these miles.
I use it to tow vehicles often.
I added a heavy duty suspension and have easily hauled 3000+ pounds in the back.
It can easily out run many sport cars and I have it over 100 mph.
Gets poor gas mileage.
