1999 GMC Safari LS review from North America
"Verr Good Comfort, Power, Utiltiy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Problems with the transfercase.
General comments?
GMC overhauled my transfer case and some spider gears were broken.. and a few other parts were worn.. the total repair came to about $3k.. but it was overhauled... while I was test driving the van.. on sharp turn it would buckel and jump.. the dealer agreed it was still a problem.. they did change the transfer case fuild with a "NEW" gmc oil... and I'll be dammed... it stopped.. and has been runing great for 18 months now..
