1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee review from North America
"Solid as a rock"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Car was perfect till about 150k
Electric fuel pump failed
Engine and tranny now a little rough
Eats brakes and rotors
New Shocks
New exhaust
Alternator
Oil leak at oil filter mount
Battery
Front axel
Water pump
Serpentine belt
BFG tires get an easy 50K if I keep the front end aligned
Fuel consumption dropped to about 16 mpg city.
General comments?
This has been a great jeep. Except for the alloy wheels the car still looks new inside and out.
I think it will give me 300k if I maintain it.
I am looking for a newer Grand with the same features
I think the aprox $1500 I have spent in replacement part is a real bargain compared to replacing the car with another used unknown.
