1998 Acura Integra GSR review from North America
"Overated cheap quality"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The clutch is very tricky and slips easily.
The clutch is brand new and I had everything checked out by Acura an they said the car was fine. It was just built that way.
The seating positions are horrible. It sits you up way to high and has no head room at all.
No leg room.
Poor driving visibility.
Very loud engine due to the high reving motors built by Honda/Acura.
General comments?
This car is relitivily fast and has excellent handeling with mild understeer due to Front-wheel drive.
The cabin is very small and uncomfortable. No leg room or head room.
The metal used to make the body of the Integra is VERY thin because Honda was aiming to make the car as light as possible for performance. It turns out that the body is extremely easy to dent and ding. Just by pushing down on the front fender to test if my suspension was still good, the palm of my hand put a small dent on the fender. Very cheap quality car.
Honda/Acura feels that they build the best car out there and that is far from the truth.
When I first purchased this car, it had a squeaky exhaust because it had rusted through. What kind of bull is that? Factory exhausts aren't supposed to rust through. Honda sucks plain and simple.
