1992 Honda Accord EX review from North America
"A well-built workhorse"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
(Special note: this was a rebuilt accord)
The engine parts became rusted under normal wear and tear at 80,000 miles.
Intakes began sucking air at 80,000 miles, causing the car to stall when stopped.
Dashboard warning lights did not operate correctly in warnings for oil and fuel levels.
Windshield washer reservoir cracked and leaked when temperature dropped below 0 degrees Fahrenheit (at 92,000 miles)
General comments?
Excellent performance, especially in traction, gas mileage, and commuter driving.
The Accord handles smoothly at high velocities (interstate/ freeway driving).
The turning capability is very easy to control, and thus the car turns sharply.
Slow acceleration.
