1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am review from North America
"A total blast to drive, but definitely not an every-day driver, unless you own a gas station"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I replaced the starter, and rebuilt the engine, using a new carb and air intake. The transmission has been replaced, but I know the car was driven hard.
General comments?
Gas mileage was atrocious, but repair bills, with the engine and tranny rebuilt, were minimal. Constantly reliable, never left me stranded!
