1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo review from North America
"A fine running machine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had to replace the brakes at 145,000 miles.
Replaced the radiator at 110,000 miles.
Driver side seat belt reciever has been replaced.
The transition to 4wd on this vehicle is rough.
General comments?
This is one fine running machine. We have had our Jeep for five years and drive it very hard, averaging about 25,000 miles per year. It requires little maintenance and is very reliable. Around town it handles quickly and on the freeway it runs well.
Only negatives on this vehicle are the rough transition to 4wd and leg room for tall folks. Our Jeep makes a grinding noise when I go to 4wd, and if you are very tall (over 6"3) there is not enough leg room, especially on long trips.
But, all in all our Jeep Cherokee Laredo runs strong and is really versatile and we use ours for just about everything. We have put a lot of miles on this car for relatively little dollars.
