1998 Suzuki Baleno GS review from UK and Ireland
"No One Knows What It Is!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
In the last 18 months that I have owned the car I can honestly say that nothing has gone wrong with the car at all!
I have replaced the tyres and brake pads, but this is down to general wear and tear and not vehicle problems.
General comments?
After owning a Suzuki Swift for 18 months, the Baleno seemed like the sensible next step.
I bought the car from a dealer and haven't had a single problem with the car in all time that I have owned it.
The main 2 things that attracted me to this car was the different looks and value for money.
It's a good all rounder. Reasonable performance, fuel economy and comfort. The one thing that I will comment on is the 'bouncy castle' like handling. The front end feels very unstable when cornering at speed - although you soon get to know the cars limits.
So much more I could say, but I really don't want to bore the people that are not interested.
