1993 Jeep Wrangler Base review from North America
"Great performer"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Windshield Leaked when the Jeep was new.
Rear window defroster needed replacement.
Clutch went out at about 90,000.
First brakes replaced at 135,000.
Windshield rust repair 152,000.
New radiator at 162,000.
Exhaust manifold replaced at 182,000 (drove about 40,000 miles with the old cracked one)
Bushings replaced at 182,000.
New limited slip and rear axle replaced at 182,000.
Alternator replaced at 186,000.
General comments?
I love the Jeep. Very reliable and durable. I plan on keeping it until 300,000 if it hold up. Paint is in incredible shape even though I have not waxed it since 1994. Interior held up well too. Original AC, trans, transfer case.
