2003 Vauxhall Corsa SXi review from UK and Ireland
"My pocket rocket"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Door seals leak water from the top.
Window wipers squeak.
Drivers seat feels loose at times.
The front shocks make squeaky noisers.
Rear window wiper stops in mid motion.
General comments?
I've had my Corsa for nearly a year now and apart from the little teething problem witch I've listed above I'm pleased with it.
For a little 1.2 Corsa it has a big personality. On motorways I can travel at 70mph and shoot to 100mph with no problems at all. Around town it also performs 100%.
I've recently lowered my Corsa using PI 35mm springs and its looks even more sportier, it handles even better and still doesn't get rid of that squeak.I've also fitted a Saxo style spoiler to the boot where I bought from the Vauxhall oweners magazine. When I lifted the standard boot skirt there was holes in the top of the boot so I had to adapt my new spoiler to fit onto to it and it looks even better now.
My previous car was a Astra 1.8 GLS and the performance isn't far behind.
My Astra was only 2 years old when I bought it and it gave me many more problems than my Corsa is giving me, so Vauxhall
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
