1997 Dodge Neon Sedan review from North America
"Worst Car Ever"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 47,000 miles, two of the speakers blew.
At 49,000 miles, the engine blew. It cost over three grand to fix it.
At 50,000 miles, the A/C stopped working. I don't plan to fix this. Hopefully this junk of a lemon will be sold by the time the East Coast warms up again.
At 51,000 miles, the gas mileage went from OK to awful.
At 52,000 miles, the Check Engine light came on. I haven't been to the shop yet to get it fixed, but I'm *not* looking forward to it.
General comments?
My Ex had a Neon. She loved it. When I needed a new car, she suggested a Neon. The day after I bought mine, her head gasket blew. She had less than 60,000 miles on the car.
It's roomy enough inside.
I can't wait to get rid of this car, it was the worst mistake I've ever made.
I've put more money into this car in a year and a half than my sister has put into her car in five years. And if I fixed everything that needs fixing, I could buy a new car for less!
