2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT review from North America
"I am disappointed so much has gone wrong in only 1000 miles."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bulbs quit working in taillight assemblies. Both taillight assemblies had to be replaced.
Fuel tank had cracks and was replaced.
The reaction gear in the transmission went bad at 23400 miles and the transmission had to be replaced.
At 24000 miles the engine became very loud. It sounded like a large leaf blower. The fan clutch was bad and had to be replaced.
All repairs were covered under warranty.
General comments?
This vehicle runs very quiet and drives very smoothly for a Sport Utility Vehicle. It is one of the smoothest riding vehicles I can remember riding in or driving.
Handling and braking is great.
The sound quality of the stereo is poor.
The fold-up rear seats are very easy to operate.
The Chevrolet service department has been very pleasent to work with in getting the repairs done.
