1993 Nissan Hardbody Pickup SE-V6 4x4 review from North America
"Good if left alone"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Numerous problems with the 2" lift on this Hard-body, 104,000 upper control arm bolts fell out (passanger)
108,000 broke rear passenger leaf spring.
109,000 upper control arm bolts fell out (passanger again)
110,000 Front end modified for the lift, accepted very well.
117,000 Main wiring harness for some reason was corroded out, replaced with spare cable.
118,000 Broke passenger upper control arm, aparently it was bent and the source of all the problems.
General comments?
This would be a very sturdy truck if it hadn't been for the wreck-less lift that I had aquired it with.
I plan on purchasing another nissan pickup in the not too distant future, but do not plan on lifting the vehicle for off road use.
The king cab allows plenty of space for a killer audio system, including folded horn boxes, and multiple amps (3 in my case)
