1979 Cadillac DeVille Coupe review from North America
"A reliable gas-guzziling beast"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car was in very good condition for the time it sat unused. It hadn't run in eight years, and the battery, oil, coolant, tires, gas and oil filters and the wiper blades need replacing. Pretty good considering that they probably haven't been replaced during the cars entire life.
General comments?
This car hasn't driven anywhere yet, but it will. This is my first car, I received it from my great-grandmother and it's a dream. All the work that I've done to it so far has been to flush the radiator, buy a new battery, and put in a few gallons of gas. With just a little starting fluid in the carb. it started up almost immediately. With all the other good reviews on '79 caddies I'm looking forward to what this thing can do.
