1996 GMC Yukon SLT review from North America
"Just will not die"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My intake manifold blew at 180,000 miles.
Transmission rebuild at 270,000 miles.
General comments?
This truck has been really good to me, I haul a 10,000lbs. trailer with my 1985 Camaro race car on it and no problems.
The gearing of the rear-end is 3.75 and I rebuilt it at 185,000 and put 4.11's in it to pull my trailer a little easer.
It has the orignal motor in and never seen any major work. All I do is just change the oil and normal ware parts and it dose just fine.
To help out with gas mileage I put on a K&N air intake and Hooker Comp headers.
Into three inch dual pipes and three chamber Flowmasters. And a Hipertech powerprogramer for the computer.
I would recommend this truck to any one!
