1996 BMW 3 Series 328i review from North America
"This is a fun-to-drive and fun-to-own toy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
1. Passenger side fog light lens got cracked.
2. passenger side wind shield wash jet clogged.
3. front rotors/brake pads replacement
4. digital climate control intermittently on and off
5. brake light intermittently fail and then fine by itself
6. sagging glove box cover.
General comments?
This is a fun fun car - no wonder the name "Ultimate Driving Machine". Driving it you are actually looking forward to twisted roads. The feel of the 328i is solid even on stock suspension. Everything is tight and precise.
And there is a huge after-market for you if you ever wanna mod it. It's more of a toy to me than a tool. It keeps a smile on my face every time I drive it. It is worth every single buck I have invested in it.
But the bad thing is:
1. no tilt wheel
2. water pump issue
3. expensive maintenance
etc.
