1985 Cadillac Seville Elegante review from Italy
"Great luxury, low performances"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
After awhile I had it, it started with engine oil loss, then with automatic transmission oil, and now with power steering one. The climate control works appropriately most of times, but rarely comes out just hot air and it doesn't stop. The speedometer and the fuel leveller wiring got dynsfunctioned after I bought it.
General comments?
This car has one of the most long-lasting engines I ever saw, after I ran for miles without engine oil, it still runs great. However, due to its old 80s on-board technology, need to be checked and not everything is 100% reliable. I use it weekly all along the year, with almost all weather conditions and exept for high speeds, this car on snow and slippery has great stability. Here in Italy is not properly made to park, but once you get used to its fuel consumption, it's a real piece of american luxury.
