1994 Ford Thunderbird LX review from North America
"Can be reliable, but also expensive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel pressure regulator went bad and pushed over 100psi fuel pressure and blowing out 4 injectors, which then filled up the cylinders on that side of engine which bent the rods. 2600$$ later and a 1000 for removal and instalation the car was up and running again. converters clogged cause it was running so rich from the previus problem, ford dearler wants 1400 dollars for a new pair. Heater core was replaced because of leaks. Drivers window needs a push to get all the down. other than that it has been very reliable and has seen many trips to vegas.
General comments?
Like other people have said, it is very comfortable and a great cruiser car, and can be quite quick when needed. I have the Chrome wheel package which looks very nice, I have also installed about 3 grand in stereo equipment (very large trunk) and tinted windows.
