2000 Chevrolet Blazer LS review from North America
"Don't buy a Blazer"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Oil cooler lines leaking at 15,000, slow at first, now I have to replace them at 40,000.
Seat back adjustment lever broke on passenger seat at 30,000. $75.00 dealer only part.
SUV developed rattle in driver side door at 32,000, I just live with it for now since not effecting anything, but getting worse.
CV boot on passenger side is leaking grease at 40,000. replacing boot asap before it ruins cv joint.
Drivers side door weatherstripping is failing to seal, water drips inside car when there is a heavy rain and there is loud wind noise going down the road.
Spare tire mount on back is difficult to shut and can easily not latch, you must get it latched or will it cause a dimple in passenger side of rear quarter, I know from experience.
General comments?
This SUV is reliable even with the problems, but I have little confidence in it.
Small problems are all adding up to a bad experience, what will break next.
Value of vehicle is dropping extremely fast. Owe more than vehicle is worth.
Very dissatisfied with this GM product.
I will never buy another GM product.
Poor gas mileage 15 mpg, even with manual transmission.
