2002 Oldsmobile Alero GLS review from North America
"A well-planned lemon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My driver's seat (automatic) window will roll up, but occasionally lets down.
The Anti-lock, Service Vehicle Soon, and Traction lights have been on for over a month and no one will tell me the problem with out me paying over 200 dollars for a diagnostic test.
The computer was defective.
My car has been towed in to the dealership over 5 times.
The fuel injector was replaced and that wasn't even the problem. That cost me 1100 dollars.
The tires have worn down in the last few months.
The cigarette lighter fuse has blown twice and I barely use it.
The CD player/AM/FM radio that came in the vehicle has been replaced twice since I've had this vehicle.
The material on the dashboard and on the front and rear doors is bubbling
already.
One of my key-less entries no longer works.
General comments?
I love the style of my car, I just wish it was more reliable. I'm in college and I need a reliable car.
