1996 Dodge Intrepid review from North America
"Good and reliable if taken care of properly"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
AC stopped working twice in two years.
Strange knocking sound coming from undercarriage when going over uneven road.
Cracking and pealing of black trim next to rear windows on both sides.
Tie rods and water pump replaced by previous owners.
General comments?
I love the space of the interior, especially when compared to the shadow that I previously owned.
The engine has plenty of power considering the age of the car.
I've driven from Miami, Florida to Kansas City, Missouri at least six times because of college. I've also gone from Missouri to Texas, as well as Florida to Delaware back to Missouri and this car is still going strong.
Despite some little things here and there, I've never regretted getting this car. As long as this car continues to be good to me I'm not going to bother looking for anything else.
