1995 Ford Ranger XLT review from North America
"A good value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear window (sliding) leaks.
Wiper switch works erradically.
Dome light doesn't always go off when it should.
Passenger seat rattles.
General comments?
Overall a very good vehicle for the money. Virtually no mechanical problems in 94K miles. Normal electrical problems for a newer vehicle. Only replaced 2 light bulbs in 9 years. Still has the original exhaust system. The chrome on the wheels/caps is still looking good. The suspension is as tough as an anvil.
On the downside, the 4 Cyl. motor is under powered for a vehicle this size. Both front brake calipers had to be replaced when the brakes were rebuilt (73K miles)
