1990 Honda Accord LX review from North America

First problem, the car was affected by a nearby lightning strike, causing me to replace some sensors and such in the car, not too expensive.

After that, I had the gas tank and radiator replaced on the vehicle.

Brakes done twice, exhaust numerous times.

Never had a transmission problem, or electrical other than the lightning.

Most recently, but not fixed yet;

Both inside front door handles have broken, swapped them with the rear, since not many people ride in the back.

Car tends to rust out quickly on the quarter panel (rear wheel well area) (happens on a lot of 90-93 Accords)

Blower motor has died on the car, causing no heat to blow out of the dash when the heater fan is turned on.

Alternator had some major problems, that seem to have fixed themselves after a while, believe it or not...

Other than those, that's just about all that I can think of.

This car is definetly very reliable, quick when you need it to be, and very economical.

Excellent on gas.

The only downside is the incredible cost of replacement parts for this vehicle, but, I'd imagine the money you save on gas and repairs and reliability over time, that this car practically pays for it self when it needs somtehing done on it.

In conclusion, this is an amazing car, can encounter it's normal problems over time, but it is extremely reliable, even when you drive it hard and to red-line many times for some fun. It's awesome.

I would have given it a 10/10, but the repair costs tend to be high for this year/make of car.
