1990 Buick LeSabre Limited review from North America
"A Excellent Car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My brakes were replaced. I put a new Alternator on. The Starter was replaced. I replace the struts, and the coil springs all the way around. The radio quit. The muffler went bad. I was having trouble with the car starting when it got below freezing. It would always start when it was plugged in. I found that the ECM was reading the wrong temperature specs. I replaced the ECM and the car started any time any temperature. The EGR valve is bad now. It is really expensive to replace.
General comments?
I love the lesabre. It really as been a good car. It never not once felt me on the side of the road. The seats are worn out now. It is still comfortable even with 385000 plus km's on it. I am thinking about moving up into a 1997 lesabre. But people say that they are not as good, due to the plastic intakes so I am a bit worried. I have a 1995 Buick Regal. I don't drive it. It is not as dependable as the lesabre. Nothing has been done to the motor, or the transmission. I change the fluids once in a while. I would recommend a car like this to anyone.
