1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth review from UK and Ireland
"Street cred on wheels baby!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I'm actually quite surprised at the reliability of the car so far. Only the immobiliser and the thermostat have had to be replaced. It also runs at 330 Brake Horse which is pretty cool as seeing as I am only 20 years old!
Although the insurance is £3660.
I would say that as long as the engine is thoroughly warmed up and annihilations of other cars are done in short bursts, the engine is fairly solid.
I think going above green injectors is stupid as the engine is not designed to handle this sort of strain, and the pistons will soon melt.
General comments?
Although Subaru's and Mitsubishi's are now considered to be a lot faster than Cossies, mine would waste Subaru's when it wasn't chipped and when it was chipped, Evo 6's can't keep up even though they claim that they are as fast as Ferrari's.
When you get one of these you won't be sorry, people treat you like you own a Ferrari!
