What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel and brake lines has rusted.. transmission been clunking when shifting since I bought it, but still going fine cause I'm use to it now..a/c and mirror control do not work, but I don't use 'em very much.. as a preventive maintenance I did change the timing chain and water pump at 160000km 'cause these engines have a tendency to break easily on those items.. have seen some!..but when changed your gone for good for a long time of reliability
General comments?
This car is incredibly reliable!..in the last 2 months I have been from Montreal to New-york..boston..hartford..buffalo twice.. and orland florida.. and on my way back from Buffalo I had a 1968 toronado on a trailer and the 88 pulled it home after 9 hours on highways at 45 m.p.h (more than 6000 pounds trailer included) with NO PROBLEMS at all..
