What things have gone wrong with the car?
White exterior body paint is horrible. It has almost totally failed.
2 U-Joints have wornout.
Heater/Air fan works only at the 3 speed range.
Vacuum leak in fuel system.
Rear bed springs are completely flattened.
General comments?
Overall I am very well pleased with this truck. It has plenty of power and has been extremely reliable.
It is easy to perform routine maintenance on.
Gas mileage is acceptable between the 12 mpg- 16 mpg range. It gets less than 10 mpg when pulling my 16 foot tandem axle trailer.
It pulls well (even with bad rear springs).
It has lots of room in the cab.
This truck drives well. It is a little tinny, but it turns, accelerates and responds well.
Has pretty good ground clearance for a 2 wheel drive.
I would love to get a dodge 3/4 ton diesel or another with the 318 engine.
