1994 Mercury Cougar XR-7 review from North America
"A perfect buy for the college kid"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought this car used from a mechanic. He had replaced many of the typical things that go wrong with the 3.8 liter. However, after I had had the vehicle for less than two days, it began to hard idle and stall. At a stop light, in reverse, or at start up. If anyone has had any problems with their cougar stalling like this, please email me with your solution. wreine1@lsu.edu Thank you.
General comments?
Overall, I love this car. It gets great gas mileage, and is cheap to operate. I am a college student who likes to go home a lot. It is a great highway cruiser and is perfect for a college student.
