The Cylinder Head at 59700

The tensioner pulleys to the timing chain at 59700.

The door lock mechanisms at 50,000.

The oil pump at 59700.

The valves are bent at 59700.

This car is very comfortable both back and front.

This cars acceleration is not what I was use to could have been a little faster.

Surprisingly the front end seems to be lower somewhat like a Neon.

My car has been at the dealer since March 29, 2004 for what they first stated was the cylinder head and the tensioner to the timing chain malfunctioning due to sludge in the engine. Also, the power door lock on the driver side was malfunctioning. I purchased an extended warranty who I am in dispute right now with who stated that this was not covered due to the sludge in the engine.

After I agreed to pay the $1500.00 for the repair, then they say that the oil pump is not working which the car did not have any oil pressure when it was towed into the dealer. After the warranty company agreed to pay for the oil pump then they call and say that the valves are bent which would cost another $2000.00 dollars. I am not budging on payment right now, I have talked with an attorney and lately have gotten the General manager of the dealership involved. I even sent an email to the manufacturer asking what is up with this car and that did not get any check engine light or even an oil light and the response was the car was not equipped to give you that type of warning.

I just happen to have ran into someone today at the salvage yard that was paying for an engine for a 2001 Concorde the same engine problems. We have talked about looking for owners to see if we can ban together to do a class action suit. mswchocolate@yahoo.com.
