2004 Renault Clio Dynamique review from UK and Ireland
"For the size of the car and fuel type, its one heck of a car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing so far, touch wood.
General comments?
The handling is superb, aided by the rather taut suspension.
Although it's a diesel engine the acceleration is almost mind-blowing, once the revs reach about 2,000 rpm.
The economy of the engine would, in my opinion, put it higher than the 1.6 16v version, as the performance is almost comparible, but does twice as many miles per gallon.
The alloy wheels, fog lights, leather steering wheel, sports seats, sporty gear stick, etc... just make the car more desirable.
The Nordic green paint finishes the job off nicely, particularly the pearlescent touch. It seems to change colour as you drive past, from black to green to navy with a purple-ish tint.
I know it's only my second car, but I love it.
