1998 Peugeot 106 Quiksilver review from UK and Ireland
"Nice car till something goes wrong"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head gasket blew at 75000 miles.
New clutch also at 75000 miles.
Rear shocks needed replacing.
Poor build quality-loose door pannels.
Radiator leaking.
Problem with reverse gear.
Leaky roof.
General comments?
The 'Quiky' has good looks, handles well and is a pretty nippy car...
Great for small journeys, but motorway trips can become uncomfortable and the engine revs high at 70mph.
They are cheap to run tho, but parts and labour costs are high in comparison to those of fords/vauxhalls.
