1988 Holden Calais review from Australia and New Zealand
"Great Car, keep any P plater happy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Thermostat went at 260,000.
Radiator blew at 263,000.
Surge tank at 265,000.
Electric windows don't work only drivers side.
Roof lining is nearly on the ground.
General comments?
This car goes hard, I love it, but is all over the road like a fat kid on a pancake when its wet.
I ran a 16.1 stock at kwinana, with a hole in the muffler, then I threw on a 2 and a half inch exhaust and pulled a 15.6, which isn't too bad for a automatic vn.
It cuts sick burnouts even better now the diff is starting to lock.
It is really comfortable inside having all the Calais trim.
