1989 BMW 3 Series i review from North America
"E30 might be better built then E36"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The hood shocks went twice, although I love that the way the hood opens.
The passenger side front fender tends to rust out on the bottom.
When at a stop and you accelerate there is at times a hesitation, before there is smooth acceleration.
Brake shudder from the front, I do not think it is the brakes.
General comments?
This Bimmer likes the high test fuel.
The car is fun to drive and is just a little bit different then your neighbors Chevrolet.
Air Conditioning still blows cold.
Good seats and driver position, all instruments within easy access, solid feel overall.
