1993 Dodge Intrepid ES review from Guatemala
"Good design, but intended for big highways"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Lost water pump seal at about 18,000 miles, but car was laid up so most likely failure to use it was the cause.
Had to replace front wheel bearings at 30,000 but again I live in an area with very rough roads.
Check engine light comes on frequently, don't know why, can't find anything wrong.
General comments?
This is a US Highway car for sure, which is why I bought it. I was transfered to Central America and I brought it here. Front Wheel drive is not the best concept for the roads here.
There is no local dealer, so I have to get parts when I visit to US, but actually not too much has failed in the car.
It has been a great second car, very comfortable and roomy, and always looks in style.
