1996 Volkswagen Jetta Trek Limited Edition review from North America

Well check engine light came on and won't go off.

The car makes a weird sound when I give it gas I think the heat sheilds loose.

I had to replace the transmission because reverse stopped working.

The buttom to pop the trunk stoped working, and the CD is stuck and won't eject.

The inside is still fine nor wear at all. Besides the steering wheel.

I brakes make a rubbing sound when I stop.

And today the starter went. its only $175!!.

The shocks are really bad they need to be replaced I'm tired of the car smacking the ground when I hit a small bump.

I really do like this car a lot even though it can be a peice.

Its black which is hard to keep clean, but I like it anyways. The 2.0L engine moves pretty good, nice power gears 1-3.

The jettas good on gas which is nice now that its $2 a gallon. I look forward to buying another VW in the future.
