1990 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had to replace radiator at about 80,000 miles.
Replaced it again at about 20,000 miles later (the deer needed more than a radiator though!)
Replaced the water pump at about 150000.
And last, but not least the alternator at about 235000.
Lost the rear windshied wiper blade to a car wash.
The power antenna stopped working several years ago.
The power door locks quit at about 200,000 miles (short in the passenger side door wiring that I will fix sometime)
General comments?
The car has 237000 miles on it -- starts everyday goes forward, backward, and around corners. Driving it is like driving your living room sofa down the street comfortable, roomy and even with a lot of miles, the v-8 still pulls well and delivers reasonable gas mileage.
