1987 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z review from North America
"This car has performance, gas mileage, and longevity, Dodge needs to make more cars like these!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fan relay sticking, two different occasions.
Alternator failed, two different occasions.
Radiator leaked.
P-seals around T-tops gone, tops leak.
Under hard acceleration the front end wobbles.
Both rear brake calipers were sticking.
Parking brake cables stick.
Tilt-wheel lock broke.
General comments?
This car gives me 34 mpg consistently if I don't drive it hard. With the turbo power there when I need it, it can out perform many V-8's.
It still has it's original stainless steel gas tank and exhaust system! (My F-150 went through three gas tanks before I got rid of it, and that was an 89)
