2004 Chevrolet Silverado LS review from North America
"All around good truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The SES(Service Engine Soon) light came on at 1000 miles. The Dealer reset the light and it came back at 2000 miles. It appears to be a faulty fuel cap. The dealer eventually replaced the fuel cap which seemed to have fixed the problem, but it took a lot of visits to the dealership.
General comments?
This truck has plenty of power and accelerates very quick. The Bose stereo was a nice bonus. As long as the fuel cap fixes the SES light then everything with the truck is fine. However, while the interior is comfortable and controls are all in easy to reach positions the quality of interior components like the dashboard feels cheap.
