1990 Acura Legend LS review from North America
"A powerful, superb handling, and comfortable vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing until recently in the last two years, except for routine maintenance and replacement of worn parts, eg. oxygen sensor. Maintained meticulously, but has developed an annoying electrical problem that the best personnel at Acura, and our regular mechanic's shop, seem unable to trace.
At rest, battery is OK, but after a run, short or long, will not restart, and even dies at stoplights.
Major drain somewhere.
General comments?
Has been a magnificent car, well built, comfortable and fast.
Has been garaged for last 5 winters, and fires up each time, no problem.
The current electrical problem has defeated the Acura personnel, and unless they can correct it, sadly, it must go.
