2002 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 V6 review from UK and Ireland
"A fun luxury performance sedan with the Jaguar prestige"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Spring tension device on trunk broken.
Sunroof motor short circuit.
Reverse parking aid malfunctioned.
Seatbelt re-coil inoperative.
General comments?
The X-Type is very fun to drive with plenty of power with the 3.0 and the all wheel drive let's you corner at high speeds with ease. Interior is very nice, but could use more lumbar support in front seats. Do not recommend 2.5 as it is to sluggish. Options can add up fast and become pricey. Recommend the $2500 package which includes sunroof, trip computer, self dimming mirror, power passenger seat, CD player, rear park assist and rain sensing wipers. Service is great with no charge service up to 50,000 miles.
