1990 Toyota Levin GT review from UK and Ireland
"Why didn't they sell this in Great Britain?"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The passenger side window can only be closed by drivers side switch.
Boot lid fit and finish is not 100%. due to accident.
Drivers seat bolster is worn.
Previous owner kept the standard radio soon to be replaced though!
General comments?
This car is sweet!!!
This is a rare japanese import ae92.
2 door coupe 1.6 gt twin cam 5 speed manual model.
A real headturner.
Its white in colour, but its having a colour change inside and out, to black.
The ride is abit ropey, but I have a set of unused lowering springs from a previous corolla.
Inside the car is the same as the uk GTi. So no worries on parts.
I'm also using 98 grade optimax fuel which is costing me 85.9p per litre.
This is the recommended fuel and I can notice the power difference from the 95 grade.
Fortunatley its very good on fuel!!!
Piece of advice for japanese import owners.
Do not use the cheap supermarket fuel. As most jap imports need at least 97 RON
Only use the best fuel for your import.
Let the good times roll.
