"Worried about future problems"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the wind shield wiper motor.
General comments?
I have had the car for 2 years (going on my third year), and have just had the windshield wiper motor replaced. I dont think that is a normal thing to replace after such a short time! Because I have so many kilometers on the car, I am beyond the warranty and am now worried about the car breaking down.
My alternator is also starting to go. It has started to waver when I start the car, and sort of lurches forward when I put it into gear.
I did love the Accent a lot, but now I'm hearing all these bad comments about Hyundai's and I'm nervous that I have made a bad purchase. I was thinking of selling the car, and just buying another Accent for the new extended warranty they are offering (I bought mine with the 3 year bumper to bumper)
Has anyone else had problems such as this? Is anyone really happy with their car (and has had it for more than 3 years). It would be so reassuring to know that my car won't fall apart only after 2 years!
