2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE review from North America
"A well rounded car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The shift boot came out.
I had to replace the battery when it was 1 and a 1/2 years old.
General comments?
The power is great. I installed an after market induction and it got even quicker and a lot more throaty. With this power came a lot of torque steer and it was sometimes scary.
It came with good tires and nice rims. The exterior is very stylish and the interior is roomy and comfortable, but it's appearance looked cheap. The carpet is thin and the door panels seem
like there isn't much quality in the in them. The seats are comfortable, but they are lint magnets.
The car was well worth it even with it;s minor problems. I do not regret this purchase at all. This is a family oriented car with a sporty attitude that
everyone can enjoy.
Last of all, Nissan provided really good service for us and really went the extra steps to take care of us. I would buy Nissan again without any question. In the past their cars were reliable, but ugly. Now they are making them look amazing with their solid quality for a complete package.
