2004 Saturn VUE review from North America
"A huge disappointment"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
From day one, my Vue made noises. First, it sounded like the entire car was shaking and being taking up in a tornado. I went to the dealership and they said the antenna was loose. Then about a month later, I started hearing noises that seemed to have come from the front air vent. The first few times I took it in, the service department said they didn't know what the noise was and put some extra padding in the instrument panel. The noise got worse, so I called Customer Service in TN. I ended up taking the car back to the dealer about 4 times in a 3 week period. They replaced the suspension, steering column, and cleaned out the middle air vent. Two months later, the noises are still there. Along with the noise from the driver's side window that they supposedly fixed last time I was there.
General comments?
I honestly think the noises in this car are going to drive me insane. I'm extremely disappointed in the Vue, especially since I loved my Saturn SL1. I will never buy another Saturn again, especially since the Customer Service Department is not very understanding or helpful.
