1998 Chevrolet S-10 LS review from North America
"Good all around small pick-up truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Drivers side seat adjustment handle broke off.
Windshield wipers quit working.
Water pump started leaking.
Emergency brake quit working.
General comments?
No major mechanical problems in nearly seven years and 87000 miles.
Good truck in 4 wheel drive. Performed well in the snow and ice on a yearly basis.
Good truck for over the road highway miles. Truck was used for 100+ mile daily commutes.
A few problems occurred (those listed above) however, the overall performance of the truck and the dependability of the vehicle was good.
This S-10 performed well in various driving conditions. Truck was also used on numerous occasions to haul heavy loads. The "all-purpose" nature of this vehicle makes it a good buy. I would purchase another S-10 truck from Chevrolet.
