1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT review from North America

"Is it really worth wasting my time to constantly repair?"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

This car has been nothing but trouble! I bought this vehicle on June 5, 2004 and to date it was been in the garage 6 different times. I have had the battery changed, oxygen sensor changed, transmission (pressure valve) changed, front and rear left and right tie rods changed, alternator, starter, all the brakes and rotors, windshield washer pump, the front left lower control arm bushing.

To top it off, I had it inspected at a Pontiac dealership and it failed two safety test! After fighting with the used car dealership where we purchased the vehicle, they covered the cost of all repairs.

General comments?

If I knew then what I know now, I would have stay as far away from this vehicle as possible. Don't get me wrong, it's the perfect fit for my family, but I'm very frustrated with all these problems.
