1990 Toyota Corona 2.0 GL review from Australia and New Zealand
"Reliability and reasonable performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
New cambelt when I bought it (for peace of mind)
New g/box and clutch (because I thrash the beast)
Minor engine problems after 20000 extremely hard km's while I've owned it :)
General comments?
Awesome first car, I've seen much better than mine around though.
Not a bad performer, 0-100 in 10 seconds, 180 km/h quite easily.
Good handling, a little oversteery around corners (light back end) Definately needs some lower stiffer springs.
Interior on mine is fairly good, the seats are a little dirty and the carpet is showing it's 14 years. The dash and surrounds are awesome though, no cracks at all.
