1986 Cadillac Brougham d' elegance review from North America
"The best big body luxury car in the last 30 years"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A/C Compressor went out at 95,000.
Supersoft bushings don't last too long.
Power antenna stop working at 110,000.
More options than you know what to do with.
If general maintenance is kept up, this car will never give out.
General comments?
Very reliable car.
Super soft and comfortable.
I live in the deserts in Arizona and I have to drive my brougham off road down some of the desert trails at time and as long as you don't get the big body high centered, the drivetrain will pull you down the trails all day long.
Car is WAY underpowerd though, has no freeway entrance speed.
Poor resale values on these cars and yet they are the most reliable big bodie cars out there, makes no sence.
Will never break down on you
Perfectly smooth idle, can't tell it's on even at 120,000miles.
